As a practicing Counselling Psychologist, I provide psychological therapeutic services to parents who present with a range of psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, personality disorder, substance misuse and attachment related difficulties which are associated with past traumas (e.g. domestic abuse, violence, child abuse and loss).
I hold a clinic two days a week for parents and children experiencing attachment related difficulties and problems within the parent-child relationship.
My training in Counselling Psychology allows me to tailor and integrate therapeutic interventions to suit the needs of the client; however, all approaches are based within a Cognitive Behavoural framework of therapy.
